  • How much notice do you need to make a dress?
We need as much notice as you can give us, however, on average 12 months is an adequate amount of time. That isn't to say we wont be able to help if you have less than 12 months before your big day. Get in contact with us to see how we can help.
  • Do you just offer a couture service?
Not at all. We are currently working on our first collection which will be available to order with at least 6 months notice before your big day. We are also in the planning stages of having a selection of off-the-rack ex sample/display dresses that you can buy and take away that day. These will be available from January 2021, when our first shop opens.
  • Is a couture service expensive?
No, not necessarily. The price depends on the fabric and embellishments that you order and the time it takes to make. The average price of an ordered wedding dress in the UK is £1,700, the average price of a couture dress from us is £800.
  • Who can I bring to my appointments?
At the moment, your appointments are held in my home studio or in the comfort of your own home. To make the appointment run smoothly we request that a maximum of 2 people attend your appointments with you. Once our shop is up and running, a maximum of 4 people will be able to attend to support you and your choices.
  • What size dresses do you offer?
We offer dresses, jumpsuits and seperates in any size between 6 and 26 as standard, however, due to offering a couture service, no size is too small or too big.
  • What underwear and shoes should I wear/bring to my appointments/fittings?
Nude underwear is best, as is a bra with detachable straps. This is to help you visualise your dress to its full potential. If you have chosen your wedding shoes already then bring them along, if not bring shoes with a similar heel hight to what you afre wanting. We ask all brides to avoid using fake tan products before coming in to try dresses on and to keep make up to a minimum. This is to avoid any damage these may cause.
  • How do I pay for my dress?
First of all, you will need to pay a 50% deposit to start the production of your dress. You will then be given an estimate date for completion of your dress, along with dates of your fittings. These will be booked into our diary at the time of paying your deposit. Unless you are having a rush order dress then the average time is between 8 and 12 months. Once your dress is completed then we will confirm the final fitting date. At this fitting the last 50% of the outstanding balance will then be due.
